I have been a Google user for a long time now and the apps and services that the company provides are great. I use my iGoogle page on a daily basis to keep track of the weather, cnn news, macrumors posts, movie listings, and recipes. Google did a good job trying to create web widgets for a personalized home page. Google Earth is great app to use to show our galaxy and objects within space using the Google Sky toggle. I have used it in the past to show students actual images of planets within our solar system and their scale. Google Docs is another great web app for students to be able to do word processing or spreadsheet functions at home without having to buy Microsoft Office Suite.
